Chancellor’s Professors

The Chancellor’s Professors program, the highest permanent academic honor for faculty, was begun in 2008. Chancellor’s Professors are appointed based on the nomination of a dean, screening by current Chancellor’s Professors, and recommendation of the provost. Recipients of the most prestigious four-year, merit-based scholarships for which entering students compete constitute the Chancellor’s Scholars. Recipients of these scholarships are invited to join the Chancellor’s Honors Program.
