Until summer 2004 the Timetable of Classes was available only in print and was produced by the Registrar’s Office each semester. Beginning in summer 2004, the timetable was available only online and was updated to include the most recent changes in course descriptions and times.

The UT Bookstore first sold cigarettes in 1935. In 2003 a resolution to ban the sale of tobacco products on campus was introduced in the Faculty Senate and was defeated 30-28. All tobacco sales in the bookstore and its branches were eliminated in early 2009.
