In 2007 the UT Knoxville Alumni Office instituted the Young Alumni Program to provide activities and information of interest to new graduates. A Young Alumni Council, consisting of 38 members, assists in governing programs directed toward recent graduates. Spring and fall Young Alumni Weekends are held on campus, and events are scheduled in areas with concentrations of recent graduates.
