World War II—Law College Curriculum Compressed

In 1942 the UT College of Law instituted a program that allowed students to earn the LLB degree in two calendar years plus a three-month summer session, following two years of college. The admission requirement was raised from two years to three years in 1952, following a ruling of the Supreme Court.
