An “academic GPS,” uTrack, that allows students to see which courses they must successfully complete and when they must complete them to graduate on time was initiated in 2013 and used by all first-time freshmen. The system alerts students if they are not on track and notifies their advisors, who can assist them in developing a plan to get back on track or, if necessary, switch majors.
