UT Chemical Society

In January 1921 junior and senior men studying chemistry formed a society called the UT Chemical Society. The society’s members were juniors and seniors who expected to make chemical work their profession. Students who had successfully completed three courses in chemistry were eligible. The first president was E. G. McConnell.
