The Tennessee Food and Lodging Association (TFLA) was the student organization of the Tourism, Food, and Lodging Department within the College of Home Economics. Annually, beginning in 1975, the organization held a Great State of Tennessee banquet at a local hotel, to which hotel and restaurant owners and managers were invited. The meal was planned, prepared, and served by TFLA members.
