Senior Holiday

In 1938 the senior class first celebrated a Senior Holiday. Seniors had a holiday from classes and participated in a program designed to increase class spirit and arouse interest in future Alumni Association activity. The first holiday (and many in succeeding years) was at Big Ridge State Park. The only requirement for attendance was that all seniors attending must have paid their class dues of $1.50. Those who had not paid their class dues or did not attend for some other reason were required to attend all their classes.
