Centuria, located in the Jack E. Reese Galleria of the John C. Hodges Library, is an approximately six-foot-high (with its base) marble sculpture presented to UT by the Omicron Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority in April 2002, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the chapter. A glistening white marble female figure draped in sculpted folds of material stands atop a polished block of brown veined Tennessee marble. Julie Warren Martin Conn, a member of the sorority, was commissioned by Omicron Chapter to sculpt the piece.
