In September 2010 Peyton Manning established the Peyton Manning Communications Enrichment Endowment, which provides ongoing support for a variety of educational initiatives within the College of Communication and Information. He was the top speech communication graduate in spring 1997 (the department was at that time within the College of Arts and Sciences) and received the College of Communication and Information’s Hileman Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2007. In recognition of his gift, room 317 in the Communications and University Extension Building was named the Peyton Manning Classroom.
