Budweiser Club

Agricultural students who lived in the dormitory on the UT Farm formed the Budweiser (or Lager) Club in 1899. Because the yearbook was to print pictures of student clubs, this and a good many other clubs appear to have been formed for the purpose of having pictures of members included in the Volunteer.

Building Directories

In January 1930 the All Students’ Club made a number of suggestions for improvement, among which was the installation of directories containing the numbers of the classrooms and offices of faculty in all buildings. The directories were installed later in 1930.

Building Signs

In fall 1951 UT instituted a uniform sign system for all campus buildings, showing the building name and the primary academic area served by the building.
