Golden Grad Program

Golden Grads are alumni of classes at least 50 years past. The first Golden Grads Reunion was held at the June 1930 commencement. Golden Grad Program, Scroll of Benefactors

The Class Bequest Program began in 1975 with the 50th anniversary Gold Grads Reunion of the Class of 1925. The “scroll of benefactors” annually lists those members of the Golden Grad class who have included UT in their estate plans.

Golden Key International Honor Society (Academic Honorary)

The UT chapter of the Golden Key International Honor Society initiated its first members on February 28, 1980. The society was founded in 1977 at Georgia State University. Golden Key recognizes students solely on the basis of their academic achievement, and its membership is restricted to the top 15 percent of college juniors and seniors.

Goldwater Scholarships

UT students have received Goldwater Scholarships at least since 2005 when Troy Alexander Perkins, Emily Reagan Pritchard, and Brini Jantha Ratliff were recipients. Congress established the Barry M.
