Phase III of the Neyland Stadium renovation, which began in November 2009 and was completed for fall 2010, included the addition of 680,000 bricks that transformed the look of the stadium’s north and west sides and created the Gate 21 Plaza area. Gate 21 is the focal point of the stadium, dominated by six lofty arches.
