1938: Coach: Robert Neyland; 10-0 in regular season play and 17-0 victory over Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl.

1940: Coach: Robert Neyland; 10-0 in regular season play and 13-19 loss to Boston College in the Sugar Bowl.

1950: Coach: Robert Neyland; 11-1 in regular season play and 20-14 victory over Dallas in the Cotton Bowl.

1951: Coach: Robert Neyland; 10-0 in regular season play and 13-28 loss to Maryland in the Sugar Bowl.

1967: Coach: Doug Dickey; 9-1 in regular season play and 24-26 loss to Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl.

1998: Coach: Phillip Fulmer; 11-0 in regular season play; SEC championship over Mississippi State (24-14); 23-16 victory over Florida State in the Fiesta Bowl. First Bowl Championship
