The UT Libraries assumed responsibility for the Social Work Library in Nashville in 1990. A core collection, part of the collection transferred to Tennessee State University when the school moved to its campus after the merger of UT at Nashville and TSU, was transferred back from TSU to the Nashville rental space obtained for the branch.
