Kappa Alpha Theta sorority installed the Delta Pi Chapter at UT on March 1, 1969. The national sorority was founded January 27, 1870, at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. The colors of the sorority are black and gold, and the flower is the black and gold pansy. The UT chapter became inactive in 1985.
