Group Seating for Football Games

Student group seating for football games was abolished in 1969 and reinstituted on a game-by-game basis in 1970 with a limit of 12 members in a group. The result was that students crowded together in a 12-seat spot, and there were constant arguments about who was supposed to be sitting in what seats. In April 2013 Paige Atchley, newly elected vice president of SGA met with representatives of the Dean of Students Office and ticket officials, and the maximum group size was changed to 250.
