A fire in Greve Hall was intentionally set late in the evening of February 24, 2008. Christopher R. Hooper, an 18-year-old freshman in mechanical engineering and resident of Greve, was charged and jailed for aggravated arson and reckless endangerment after admitting to starting the fire. Greve was evacuated. The fire burned out before authorities arrived and little damage was done.
