Book Loan Program

The Black Cultural Center began a book loan program in fall 1995, under which books used in courses, either as textbooks or collateral reading, were collected through student donations, unclaimed lost-and-found books, and books purchased through donations. While many universities have loan programs for students on scholarships, UT’s program was devised to allow any student registered for classes to borrow one or two books per semester.
