Bob Harter

Bob Harter earned the bachelor’s degree from UT in 1977 with a major in psychology. A versatile performer, he has appeared in the films The Curious Case of Benjamin Button; Death Sentence; Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius; Simpatico; The Insider; Mobius; Paranoid; and Losing Grace. His television roles include those in Savannah, I’ll Fly Away, Web of Deceit, I-40 Paradise, and many others. He has appeared in dozens of commercials, including ones for Miller Genuine Draft Beer, Hertz, Lowe’s Home Improvements, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and Steelcase. He plays the trumpet and can assume a Scottish, Russian, Irish, British, Australian, German, Chinese, Southern (or other) accent for the part in which he is cast. He also does over 50 impressions and dozens of character voices. When he is not on location, he and his wife, Della Cole, operate Your Act, an acting academy in Atlanta.
