The UT Alumni Association at all UT campuses awards Andrew D. Holt scholarships annually. Four scholarships are awarded to Knoxville campus-entering freshmen, based on academic merit and leadership. The awards are for four years of study. Recipients are invited to join the Chancellor’s Honors Program. The scholarships are named in honor of UT President Andrew D. Holt and were first offered in 1973.
