In 2007 a program titled Tennessee Hospitality Ambassadors was begun through which 40 students, supervised by UT’s hospitality provider, Colonnade Group (a division of Champion Exposition) worked (initial salary was $7 per hour) during home football games staffing the skyboxes and club level areas of Neyland Stadium. All ambassadors were UT students, and their role was to assist skybox holders, guests, and Club level members with questions, and provide any needed assistance.
