The Alumni Association once offered a two-year scholarships to the valedictorians of all high schools in Tennessee. If more than one valedictorian was named by a school, the student with the highest standardized standard test scores was the recipient. This scholarship was awarded starting in the early 1980s through the 1990s and is no longer active.
