The Gamma Chapter of Alpha Delta Omega, the first chapter in the South and third in the nation of the new honorary society for human services majors and professionals, was established in spring 1990. Membership is open to human services majors who have completed nine credit hours in the major (junior and senior) and have at least a 3.0 average in the major. Its purpose is to advance excellence in human services and to recognize those individuals who exhibit superior scholastic and leadership qualities, character, and participation in the fields of human services.
