Chancellor Cheek appointed a Sexual Assault Task Force in fall 2014 composed of community members, students, faculty, and staff to revise UT’s sexual assault and misconduct policies. The appointment of the task force followed the issuance by Cheek of an interim sexual assault policy, including an affirmative consent provision.
