PUSH Club

Dedicated to providing services to people with disabilities and promoting understanding and awareness through education, a PUSH Club was formed at UT in 2002. PUSH began nationally in 1977, and its name was originally an acronym for Play Units for the Severely Handicapped. As an extension of PUSH America, a main objective of the club is raising money to build playgrounds for disabled children at hospitals and elementary schools. The UT organization also focuses on making the campus more accessible for students and faculty with disabilities.
