The Manthan Indian Students Organization has evolved from the India Association, established at UT in 1965. The Manthan-ISO arranges for the celebration of various Indian festivals by Indian students and also has regular Indian cookouts. In September 2003 the organization first published a magazine, Rendezvous, to keep UT Indian students and potential students informed about matters of common interest.
