Educators' Hall of Honor

The charter class of 20 educators was inducted into the College of Education’s Hall of Honor on May 15, 2002. The Hall of Honor recognizes those educators who have made a difference in the lives of their students. A gift of $1,000 or more to the program nominates an educator, and income from an endowment established with the nomination funds is used to provide stipends for UT students engaged in the yearlong internship required for earning the master’s degree. Glennon Rowell, dean of the College of Education, implemented the program.
