Circle Park Online, an online registration system for students to register for both classes and housing, was initialized in summer 2000. It replaced the former method of registering for classes by telephone. Students were also provided the opportunity to see their grades, change PIN numbers, and search all classes in the timetable. This system also expanded the online housing registration by eliminating the need to print out and sign a paper contract. In 2002 the ability to have overload hours approved by college advising centers was added.
In July 2007 an expanded Circle Park Online was introduced through which students could register for classes, view financial holds, view grades, view and print class schedules, search the timetable of classes, pay fees, confirm attendance, and change addresses (permanent, local, and billing). In September 2010 the first sections of MyUTK, an integrated computer portal for students, faculty, and staff went live, which began the process of phasing out Circle Park Online. MyUTK incorporates the BANNER Student Information System.
