The College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences partnered with Knox County Schools in 2010 to form the UT Center for Educational Leadership. The center was designed with five components: a Leadership Academy for aspiring school principals, a Professional Development Institute for current principals, an Executive Level Institute for central office administration, a research center, and job-embedded support that was a principal in residence to support local principals.
